We perform high-quality EMG/NCS without the use of technicians. We use EMG/NCS for accurate diagnosis of nerve and muscle disorders to help guide treatment and recovery.

Muscle and nerve problems are often difficult to diagnose. The physicians at Sea Girt PM&R Associates are specially trained in the use of electrodiagnostic testing to evaluate these problems. They use electrodiagnostic testing as an extension of the physical exam to give a complete picture of a patient’s injury or disability. Electrodiagnostic testing includes the use of nerve conductions studies where electrical signals are transmitted through the nerves and electromyography where a small needle is used to analyze the signals from a patient’s muscles and nerves. We perform testing on our own patients to help guide treatment and also as a consult where a report is sent to your own provider with the results.
